HF Group is a leader in manufacturing specialized Jack and Caster assemblies, which provide leveling and mobilization abilities for a deployable shelters such as those used on U-2, Global Hawk, and Predator ground control stations. HF Group's Jack and Caster assemblies feature dual inflatable tires, a caster-dolly mechanism, a jack mechanism, a rachet jack handle, a pedal-actuated brake, and a sand pad.
Four Jack and Casters may be attached to a shelter to enable the raising and lowering, and movement capabilities of the shelter. Wheel assemblies swivel freely 360 degrees or can be locked in 45 degree increments to ensure precise positioning. Further, activating the brake ensures immobility and additional shelter stablility.
The Jack and Caster can be extended by using the integrated manual jacking mechanisim or by attaching a specialized electric drive motor with a socket attachment. The jacking mechanism implements a mechanical drive mechanism, which ensures fixed positioning over extended periods of time, thereby reducing the need for realignment. Fully loaded, Jack and Caster assemblies enable 25 inches of ground clearance indefinitely.
